This is a timely thread!
Can't believe I'm just now seeing this thread.
We actually went from a 3rd gen (which I loved) to a 4th gen because I felt the 3rd gen was inadequate as a tow vehicle.
We tow a ~1,000lb teardrop trailer named "Bubbles."
(not a great picture, I know, but it gives you an idea of the size.)
She's a homebuilt, we bought her from the guy who built her and then we sunk a lot of time and money into rebuilding her. It's a labor of love and we do like getting a lot of attention at gas stations and rest areas! (There is a link in my signature to our build thread.)
We've had it for 3 years now and love it, but we are both getting a little tired of not being able to stand up. We've started searching for a bigger trailer but most of what we see is just TOO big.
I'm wondering what's out there in the 1500lb range that can sleep two people comfortably and two more in a pinch. We love old vintage trailers but unfortunately it seems they've become very popular lately and the ones we see are just in crap condition or hideously overpriced (and often both!)
I like the all fiberglass trailers like the Scamp or Casita but the wife hates them for some reason. We don't want anything with canvas and I really don't like the idea of a pop up anyway.
What's the smallest non-pop-up travel trailer made? We are thinking of maybe something like a T@B, that even has a "teardrop" shape but in a stand-up configuration.
