After looking at all your gorgeous lifted 4Runners I had to do mine. Here is my lifted Blizzard Pearl 2010 LE. It has a 3" Daystar spacer kit. 18x9 Ultra Guantlet wheels, Nitto Trails 285x65x18.
We took off the factory running boards (no they are not for sale) and also had to trim a fair amount of inner fenders for the tires to clear and the control arm is just about touching the tire but not quite. I did the spacer kit instead of a suspension lift because I use my truck mostly on paved roads and I like the mushy factory ride. I had done a suspension kit on my 4th gen and while it was awesome, I couldn't drink my coffee without wearing it! :beer:
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy the pics and maybe inspire some of you to lift your Blizzard Pearls.

I had cornfed make me a custom .75 inch spacer. He shipped it out the same day and I got it two days later. Great quality.

Hey Maintz I was looking to install the exact Daystar lift. How was the install? Did you do it yourself, bring it somewhere? Any advice post-lift? Thanks!! :thanks:

I had my local BigOTires install,... they have a couple of good mechanics (and a lift). Be careful to NOT disconnect any component on the front shocks (XTreas system), as you will discharge the shocks and even the dealer can't recharge them! This is why I went with a spacer kit rather than a lift kit,... too expensive for a truck that probably won't see rough terrain.
I put on Centerline wheels, 17x8 (1" wider than stock), and in hindsight, should have changed the offset to move them out slightly. The tires are 275R70, and I do have a minor rub with a hard crank. I'll modify the wheelwell eventually.
I experience some soft "clunking" sounds on bumpy surfaces now and then, but I'm not sure if that was pre-existing or not.
I do like the looks with the lift, and I'm rid of the "gangsta" OEM 20" wheels and skinny tires.

Truck look amazing! Did you rub anywhere with the new shoes? If you have a second, can you give me height measurements from ground to fenders and also ground to top of the roof rack? Thanks!!! :thumb3:
