Ive got a '11 4runner trail edition with the KDSS and was wondering if i could lift/level with our reprograming anything. And if I can't, what is the biggest tire I can put on and still be off road capable.

My 4Runner was completed last night with a Radflo/OW 2.5 full suspension system, MHT Fuel Octane Rims and BFG KM2s.

Couple Pictures of the new setup... DayStar KT09134BK with stock 20's and Cooper A/T3 275/60-20's. Initial impression is nothing short of awesome. Since 99% of my driving is on pavement or at least hard dirt/grass, this lift and tires serve my needs perfectly! Couldn't be happier!! :cheers:

Thanks for the likes and compliments guys! Yea I painted them. It was a weekend long endeavor, if which went very smoothly. The key was preparation. All the sanding and cleaning, and sanding between priming coats (wet sand), and sanding between paint coats (wet sand) and attention to detail really paid off. Plus I had to turn a portion of my garage into a paint booth, haha. Needed the proper heat, humidity control, ventilation, ect. That coupled with my OCD, make the project last must longer than I'm sure it needed to. But the results speak for themselves and I would do it again in a heartbeat. :nerd:

What a little Stage 6, Duratrac and Powdercoat Will Do

Last week I installed an ICON stage 6 and had the local shop deal with the alignment. "While I was in there" (totally planned on it I had them change out the tires to run the duratrac 33"s and I had the stock rims powder coated to match the body trim, hood and tailgate wrap.

Pretty straight forward job with some finesse around the KDSS. I also had to cut back some of the unnecessary body mount and push the wheel wells a bit forward. With that done, I have a perfect non-rubbing kit for some serious mtn wheeling.

I am real happy with the results and I personally love the stock wheels in matte black.

Looks like you set your fronts pretty high, how much lift did you achieve? Also what size tires are you running that you had to chop the body mount? I run 295/65x18 on 18x9 wheel and with caster set at max positive (+5.5~) have no rub issues on the body mount though did have to remove the rubber cover as I did rub on it. Or I should say the trimmed version of the cover got removed on my last wheeling trip :lmao:
