Finally made it to this thread..
Just got back from Virginia where Scott at HighTech Auto installed my Icon stage 4 setup with Method wheels and 285/70 KO2's.

I can not say enough about Scott's work there. Drove about 4 hours because of the positive reviews and I can say it was worth it. He treated my truck like it was his own.

5100's on front ( highest setting)
fox shox and arb 2.5-3 inch springs
What's the best way to get the front end raised up more?

You can add some OME 884 front springs and lower your 5100 settings to .85". This will give you roughly 2.85" of front lift. But at that point you are looking at needing UCA's to fix the alignment and caster issues. Here is mine with OME 885 fronts, 5100's set at 0, and Toytec Superflex (+10%) rears. Read spring descriptions at the bottom of the link just above the picture.

I'm interested in seeing the new OME's, they look nice. You can go for Boss as well if you're looking for something a little cheaper.
Hey Tral, Great looking rig - curious, what load rating are those tires? I'm considering these tires/size with a 2" lift all around, but in a P rated tire as I'm currently doing 98% highway driving - I'm a bit nervous of having too flimsy of a side wall for corning/handling, but don't want to jump to a an E metric in that size. Thanks in advanced - any info you care to share would be great.

Looks good! Do you have a T4R decal on your rear passenger quarter panel window now?? If so, I think you passed me on I5 North on Saturday.

#MATTYDIRT Mine are the E rated version (LT). Since I'm not a tire connoisseur by any means i have to say that i appreciate the more firm ride in that I'm more top heavy and roll a bit more with the lift. I really don't think that you can go wrong but also understand they are louder than your stock especially at highway speeds (55- 75 mph). Keep in mind though i need to get another alignment in a couple weeks after my springs and all settle so that may change but I'm guessing not by much.

That's a possibility. Dunno how cost-effective that would be versus just getting the factory setup.
I was just thinking that it would be a nice excuse to get a new toy. :naughty:

I'm running LT285/65R18 Toyo Open Country R/T's and they are super quiet compared to any other brand aggressive tread tire. There is a little hum at highway speeds but you really have to listen for it. Throw some jams on the radio and you just hear your music. There's no trying to listen to your tunes over the tire hum. Super happy with the Open Country R/T's. Those are the only tires I will buy for my 4Runner until they stop making them.
