2015 SR5P with Toytec Ultimate 3" & Bilstein 5100's (3" F - 2" R). Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 Tires @ 285/70R17. Wheels are MT Sidebiter II @ 17x9.

No rubbing.

Do you have stock UCAs with this set up or Aftermarkets?

Thanks fellas! I decided to vinyl wrap instead of buying the Bushwacker flares. Figured I'll save a few hundred bucks for now and maybe get the Bushwacker flares once these are beaten up. So far its holding up well after some pin strip actions! ha! I bought VVIVID matte black vinyl wrap from amazon for about $80. I used a heat gun, squeegee, and xacto knife. I did not remove any flares (maybe just one but broke off some of the clips that holds the flare!:doh, simply apply the vinyl on the flares using the tools necessary to smooth out any air bubbles and then carefully cut out the edge of the flares. Took several practice attempts to get a clean cut around the flares...patience and attention to detail will get the job done....hope this helps and good luck if you're planing to do this mod! :cheers:

Do you recall the dimensions of the vinyl roll you purchased. I'd like to know what the optimum size roll to buy with least amount of waste.

How do you like those 275's? Feel much power loss with the bigger heavier tire? I am debating between those and 285 KO2's...

BFG KO2 Tires

How do you like those 275's? Feel much power loss with the bigger heavier tire? I am debating between those and 285 KO2's...

I have the 275's on mine as well. If you didn't already know the 275's are only offered as load E rated. I researched quite a bit. The C rated 285's are 2 pounds heavier than the the E rated 275's. I only lost 1mpg going from stock to the E rated 275 KO2's. I have no other mods that would affect mileage but YMMV.

Obviously "feel" is very subjective but I didn't notice a huge difference in acceleration. I contacted BF Goodrich directly about tire pressure. They recommended 50psi. Although that is what is recommended for this load range E tire I "felt" that was a bit harsh. After weeks of trying different pressures I settled on 47psi front and 45psi rear. This "feels" reasonable although still slightly more harsh than the stock tires.

Ultimately I went with the load E 275's because a few people have had rubbing issues with the 285's and I didn't want to chance it. The load E is 10 ply vs. the load C which is 6 ply. Lastly, while bigger is better for off road tires the difference between 275 and 285 is, obviously, 10 millimeters (~0.4 inches) in diameter so the overall size difference is negligible.
