Installed 5100s on all corners. KDSS. Front 5100s set to 2.5" although the resulting lift measurements show it closer to 3". Rear is using a 1.5" Daystar spacer.

Is it common to get more than 2.5" from the 5100's on the highest perch? I'm slightly concerned about my CV angles and have just ordered the Toytec Diff drop kit. At 2.5" I think my angles would have been perfect. Maybe the 2.9-3.0" lift will settle some with time. ?

Here are my before and after measurements from the ground up at the same parking location. Half tank of gas. Driver not in vehicle (changes the front by around 1/4 inch).

Before Passenger front: 34.125"
After: 37.2"
3.075" lift

Before Driver front: 34.4
After: 37.3
2.9" lift

Before Passenger rear: 36.4"
After: 38.1
1.7" lift

Before Driver rear: 36.6"
After: 38.4
1.8" lift

Did you have your alignment done yet? Because of the camber after. Lift the truck normally sits a bit higher.
If any of the inner cv boot fins rub each other then you may want to consider getting the Diff drop kit.

Yeah I got the alignment after my local shop (GAS in Woodstock, GA) did the install. I ordered the Toytec diff drop kit today with plans to install it next week. I assume my angles/boots are pretty standard looking for anyone with a lift. I have seen much worse on this forum!

Were all your alignments within factory specs? And from the looks of your pics, I wouldn't even worry about putting the diff drop in. The diff drop won't change the angles that much, but if it makes you sleep better go for it! Looks damn good, and I will be doing this next weekend on my silver trail with KDSS. What tire size are u running by the way?

My Tacoma was blowing boots almost every 6 mo. But that was when I had my C/O cranked up.

Just did the 3" lift and got the new rims and tires yesterday!
It's the wife's replacement for her 2015 Kia Optima that was totaled late last year :-(

The main thing is the inner cv boots. If you start seeing the edges of the pleats rubbing together that is how they eventually fail.
My Tacoma was blowing boots almost every 6 mo. But that was when I had my C/O cranked up.
The diff drop will help!

Yikes, that's no fun. Sounds expensive. Exactly what I'm trying to avoid...

Toytec lift install time?

I am putting a Toytec lift(front spacers and rear coils) on my TRD Pro, and I was wondering how long it took start to finish for the install of the front spacer and the rear coil?

I figure it will take about 3 hours total if everything goes well.

Two guys (one that knows what he's doing, and me) took 2-and-a-half hours to do the Toytec front springs and OME rear springs...he probably coulda done in half that time if I didn't help!

Toy tec 3" alluminum lift and rear spacers. As advertised.

Two of us installed the lift and then trimmed a few places on the front liners. Body mounts cut back and welded up. Installed 18" x 9" alloys with -12mm offset. Took all day but really turned out well I think. Fuel mileage will not improve I'm afraid.

5100 all around with front @ 1.75 and 2 stacked OME 10mm spacers in the rear. Also added 1.25 wheel spacers stock tire size.
