Post your LIFTED pix here!

How do you like those 255/80's? How do they tuck and turn?

Tires tuck flush w/fender,rims have zero offset. Tires rub on mudflaps when making sharp turn.Second pic 285/trail rim, tuck under flush,no rub.

Hmmm interesting. did you ever try the 80's on the trail rim before swapping to the 285's? What prompted you to switch over?

I have two set of tires,Coopers for summer and Duratracs for winter.Never thought of swapping tire/rim . Plan was use oem tire/rim for winter. Then saw deal on Duratracs I could not pass, $262 Canadian / tire!

Stage ii ICON with 275/70/17 KO2s

Looks great! How do you like the BFG 275s? Did you notice a big power loss? I'm not worried about losing a few MPG, but I know the E load tires add a lot of unsprung weight, but wondering if the look/performance outweighs that?

No complaints just yet. I have yet to see any mpg loss for the time I've had them, but have read that they don't lose too much after changing from a 265/70/17 tires.

Looks are great, I have yet to take them off road but planning to go on a multi state camping trip with them in the next month where I'll be loading the car with about 500+lb of extra weight (gear and family) and can't wait to see how they perform.

Finally installed my Toytec BOSS Suspension and JBA A-Arms/UCA's.

Favorite pic so far. 5100's, T1 and T13 springs, and BORA wheel spacers. Still dealing with some slight fender liner rub at full lock. Going to heat it up a bit and bend it out of the way. Should fix the issue.

Toytec 2.5" front spacers

Toytec Superflex 2" rear springs

Stock shocks and struts

SCS SR8 17x8.5 et-10

Cooper Discoverer ATP 285/70/17

Front fender liner mod/ trimmed bumper/ front mud flaps removed and absolutely ZERO rub issues even at full lock/articulation

Great looking setup! I'm debating between these and the 6112/5160 setup with the same rear spring.

What setting do you have your coilovers set at? Any issues with setting the caster?

How much actual lift did you get from the t13 springs? I wish wheeler made a 2 inch option. I feel like I'd want a bit more than 1.5 in the rear but 2.5 is a bit much for what I want. Might just spend a bit more and get the Icon springs instead or get the t13's and add a small spacer.

Thanks! I was in the same boat between setups. I went 5100s and Wheeler's springs due to basic setup, increased spring rate, and cost.

I do like the height. Front T1 springs are set at zero. Wheeler's mentioned I could preload the front coils but might be too stiff. Suggested I use top plate spacer. Unfortunately, I did not measure before and after height :ybrick:

I've been debating doing .5" rear spacer ( Do they even make a .5" rear spacer for 5th gens? ) and preload the front to grab another .5" all around. Haven't had time to mess with it.

Stock upper arms netted 2.5 on caster with the T1 coils installed at zero on stock upper arms.

I can say the ride is perfect for me. Exactly how I imagined it should ride. Stiff but still smooth.

I'm leaning towards the Bilstein setup for the same reasons you did. Cost as well as the low maintenance requirements of the setup.

I'm glad you were able to get the caster to 2.5 on stock UCA's. That'd be about my limit as far as caster is concerned. Any less than that and the truck will feel like it wants to wander a bit on the highway. How do you like it at 2.5?

I see you have your bike back there, do you notice much sag with the back weighed down a bit with gear? I have a Thule t2 rack and with two mtn bikes back there and our riding gear/tools I notice a little bit of sag.

I'm mainly looking for a bit more load capacity/less sag in my spring upgrade. Hence my dilemma with the t13(1.5 inch) vs icon (2 inch) vs t12 (2.5 inch) springs. It irks me how much the back end droops when I'm loaded up. I've scratched up the rear bumper and dented my tail pipe already due to forgetting how low my rear end was with the additional weight.

Anyway, sorry for all the questions. I really appreciate your response so far!

Can't go wrong with the 5100's. I have them on a '16 Tacoma also.

IMO it drives fine at 2.5 caster. I do have plans for upper arms down the road just to dial it in better and give me an option to go up to 3" in front with good caster numbers.

I haven't done much more than just my bike on the back. I use a 1Up rack that is light along with a sub 30lb bike. No noticeable difference when mounted up. The T13 coils have ~12% spring rate increase to help with extra loads and prevent sag. I did end up ordering 2 OME 10mm trim packs to toss in for good measure. Just ordered today so looking forward to seeing how they look in a couple of weeks. If I could do it over again, I think I would snag the 2" coils. I hate sag and reverse rake. Not that this setup does, but I also haven't mounted up my RTT or camping gear. So we will see.

Glad to help. Hopefully someone else will read this and help them out also.

Here's my wife's 17 4runner and my 17 Tacoma, we just purchased them last week and took them straight to the shop. Plenty left to do!

Hold fast and stay weird.
