I'll take a measuring tape to it tomorrow and report back.
Hah, not bad at all, you're prepared! These are 285/70r17's with 17 X 8.5 wheels.
Also one thing to note is how dramatically the overall handling has changed with this lift, in a great way. The "front diving" and "body roll" are essentially non-existent. I'm truly excited with the aesthetics of this lift, but again, can't say enough for the improvement in driving characteristics that came about as well.

Looks good TunnelRat. What are the specs on your lift and tires?
Do you have wheel spacers? What offset are your 17x8.5s?
I got 17x9s with -13mm offset and 4.5 back space. I'm hoping to not run spacers and be flush. Yours look flush with fender flare.

Can't yet make this into a new post since I am a new member...
Been lurking for a few weeks. I am a new owner of a 2011 SR5. I want to add 2 inches of height for purely aesthetic reasons. Maybe to clear a 275 tire size. I have evaluated options and am fine with stock performance until I reach time in my life in which I have time to do some wheeling (medical student here...). Thus I want to do an el cheapo leveling kit. It seems lots of people have experience with the Daystar polyurethane kit as well as other notable brands such as Toytech and Procomp but I cannot find a single mention of this one:

A shop in town quoted me $325 for total install and tire alignment saying that they "do these all the time" but I thought it odd that no one ever mentions this kit.
I have had lifts before. Im well aware Rough Country is a low end lift company and I would agree if we were talking full suspension, shocks, etc. but this kit is literally just pieces of metal. (And from my understanding metal > poly when it comes to level kits.)
What do you guys think?

Spend the extra money and get a Revtek. Still a cheaper lift but will last longer.

Just what I've been told from several people that have first hand experience with the Rough Country lift on these 4Runners as well as the Pro Comp Nitro lift. The rear spacers don't hold up as long. Have problems with them failing. Just my $.02 but you're more than welcome to make that decision for yourself.

Just curious, why not go with a 275? There's little to no modding that needs to be done to fit. To each their own i suppose, but i had to ask.

It's no problem. I live in Alaska and bought my car in the fall so heavy snowfall was in the near future. I wanted a tire that could perform well in the summer and winter with the end game using them as my winter wheels/tires. For the snow I didn't want a wider tire so I stuck with the oem size.
