Alright I got my truck back. Its dark and rainy so no pics today, will update this post with pictures when I take them.
Bilstein 5100's front(1.75") and rear with 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak ATs
First impressions -
Wow. It rides sooooo much better. This is how it should come from factory both in looks and how it drives. It doesn't feel lethargic anymore, just mozing around corners and softly going over bumps. It absorbs bumps and irregularities much better...you still feel it, but it feels much more distant.
There is much less body roll and no nose dive.
The tires are great so far, no noisier than the stock bridgestones (which I found to be pretty noisy for a highway tire), and I think they look better than how they looked on Project Backcountry....I don't know why exactly, but you'll have to take my word for it until I can post pictures. Also, big plus - no rubbing at all with no trimming needed! A huge plus in my book. We'll see how they stuff the next time I go offroading.
Overall, I'm incredibly happy, well worth the money. IMO my truck has a nice aggressive look to it now and doesn't look like anything can hold it back!
Taken with my cell phone - will post some better ones
