Wow! Looks like you applied 8 coats of wax! The tacoma wheels looking good too.

Thanks man... really happy with the way the wheels turned out since I needed wider wheels to accomodate 285's and have always been a big fan of 5 spoke wheels. Next choice would have been a baja style kinda like yours or the TE wheels.
I've probably been waxing too much since I got it in August of last year, but I like to keep the sides coated like butter so trail stripes don't scratch too deep.

Thanks man. I just use the Meguires Gold Class liquid wax and then buff it with a microfiber cloth instead of a terry cloth towel.

Thanks for all the previous posts of lifted 5th Gens. All the pictures and specs were helpful for putting together my project.
Just finished installing the Toytec ultimate kit on my 2011. I had XD Hoss 17x9's left over from my FJ, so I put those on with Goodyear DuraTrac 285/70-17s. Lots of rub in front ... had to remove a small panel near the rear of the front fenderwell to fix the rub in the back half ... used a heat gun to warm up the front half and push it in ... still not perfect, need to heat it up again and push it further (but hoping to get it done without cutting anything).
Diff drop went in with no trimming of the skid plate. I Did have to use spring compressors to get the back coils in.

Nice ride errant. What was your total lift? Did you happen to take any measurements before and after?

Maybe with spacers, but a full lift I think would require you to remove the XREAS system.

Is it possible to lift a Limited with the XREAS? how much more work is it? Yes it is possible. You can do a spacer lift like I did. Or you can go full suspension by removing xreas.

Errant, did you have the option to either mount the running boards with side skirt on or off?
What do you have the front coils set at ? Do you think so much rubbing is coming from the 17x9 wheels ? Looks tough !!
Since when are Tacoma wheels wider than the 7" normal style on and of Toyotas trucks ??? I was not aware .....fill me in

The 17" sport wheels have always been 17x7.5 as far as I know... Maybe the 16's are only 7" wide???
