Going up

Finally got the lift installed. My driveway has a slight slant down so runner is not sitting on level ground.
I installed 884 springs on the front and 895E on the rear, with Bilstein shocks all around.

Ride is a little stiffer then stock, with less nose drive on braking. It actually feels pretty good, now I just need wheels and tires (next week).

Stock height was 34.5" front and 36" rear (ground to fender edge).
Now 38" front and 38.5" rear drivers side, passenger side sits a touch higher.

My alignment numbers weren't to bad, seeing I did not do UCA.
Camber is 0.1 both sides, caster is 1.9 / 2.0 (wanted more just not any adjustment left) and toe is .03 / .04 (total toe .07). Steering feels better then stock, so who knows what the numbers were from the factory!

I'm running Toyo Open Country A/T's in P285/70R17's. They ride smooth and are pretty quiet. I'm still on the lookout for a second set of rims and tires, where I'll most likely go with a more aggressive tires, like a KM2. We'll see, I think the TRD forged wheels would look killer, but they are pricey.

Great looking truck! I am going to lift mine this weekend and will be doing almost the same amount of lift you did and probably the same size tires on stock wheels. I'm curious, did you get any rubbing with the 285's? I think that size looks great. Very nice.

I installed the tires before the lift and moved the front fender liners forward 0.5". With moving the liners forward, the tires only rubbed barely during off-camber hard turns. With the lift, that's now a non-issue.

Did you have spidertrax spacer...and why did you remove? I put those on and will keep them until I get an aftermarket wheel...

No, he had a spacer lift and went with the Icons, (springs and shocks).

Got my lift and Spidertrax on yesterday. So Stoked on how it came out. With the spacers I dont despise the stock wheels/tires as much.

How much is the lift affecting yalls MPG? I just trader my 09 4x4 Tacoma which had a 4.5" RCD drop bracket kit, Light Racing UCA's and 285-70-17 Duratracs for a 2011 T4R SR5 4x4. My milage on the tacoma was 10. Yes 10 MPG. Costing me over $800 a month in gas. I definately want to set up the 4R just not to that extreme.

With just my lift I am seeing no effect on MPG. Now when I get the larger/heavier tires/wheels I am sure my MPG will go down, I just hope not too bad. 10 MPG would cause me to go back to stock tires/wheels. Seeing almost 20 MPG combine use.

Yep Fuel wheels but onl 17". Details... 2011 SR5 with 4600 miles is all. 3" toytech 285/75/17 GY Wrangler Kevlar. Black and Gray Two tone Leather. Bought it for my 150 pound great dane so he can stay off my back seat and have his own roll down window in the back.

Now I have the 2/1.5 toytec spacer kit...285/70/17 nitto TG's...and 1.25" spidertrax spacers which really makes the T4R look like it should IMO. This should tide me over for a while until I get the bug to upgrade to a real lift with adjustable bilsteins. Until then...this works!

I was thinking about going with the ToyTec Ultimate Lift on my 2011 SR5, I was wondering if you have any rubbing (even at ful lock) with the Spider Tracks and the 285 Nittos TG's?
