I made final adjustments to my coilovers today. I brought them down about 1". My goal was a subtle lift to add capability and enhance performance. Final measurements are a 2" lift up front with SAW 1.5" rear coils. I wanted to maintain most of the factory rake, because I like the look. I'm also pretty happy with how the 275's look....though I'll consider 285's when the time comes for replacements. This thing handles and rides great now!

Looks awesome. Glad to hear you're happier with the handling and ride now--I know that's been a bit of sore spot for you and your 4Runner. I really need to wear out my Yokos so I can get your wheel and tire setup. Now that I'm seeing more 4Rs on the road around here, I'm really liking the SR5 wheels. Destination A/Ts look just right on the non-TE models. Well done!

Thanks! I agree with you on the destinations......just the right amount of aggressiveness. I've got some XD Bullys on order, but the SR5 wheels do look great. After the lift I was so happy with the look I had second thoughts about losing the OEM wheels.

Finally got around to snapping some pics after the snow (then rain) storms the past week -- managed to find some bigger mud puddles after taking the pics!

I went with the Toytec Ultimate kit but had them build up the front COs with the new 5th Gen specific Bilsteins (P/N 24-196499). Rides great and if there is a valving difference, it didn't make the ride too stiff in my opinion (that was Toytec's concern up front). Light Racing UCAs up front and a 1" differential drop as well.

I ended up with almost 2.5" in the rear and just under 3" in the front. I'm hoping the rear end settles down closer to 2" and may crank up the COs just a bit down the road -- since the rear is a little taller than I expected, I do have ~1.5" of rake (which I don't really mind, but I would like it to be closer to 1"). Last pic is of my rig next to Egstyle's -- hard to tell but his nose is just a little taller than mine (he's running bigger tires than my 285s).

My 285/70R17 Duratracs don't rub at all with the mudflaps off but I put them back on this week since I was getting a ton of snow/slush on the running boards during the snow storm -- rubbing pretty good when backing up and turning and also a bit when turning into parking lots. I asked them to align with +4 caster but it ended up at 3.4 I think. Once I crank up the COs I'll have another alignment done and make sure the caster is set higher.

Billstein 5100's set at 2.5" and 1.5" rear coils, it's not anything drastic but I it definitely gave some better clearance in the for with having KDSS and, in my opinion they should come off the lot with this ride height.

It rides great, break dive is gone, as well as the little body roll that was there, I can't believe how much of a difference the Billsteins made.
