Ordered my new Camburg BJ UCA's today from Wheelers Off-Road, Inc today! Thanks [MENTION=87036]YotaDan[/MENTION] for the help!
Hopefully I'll find 2-4 hours to get them installed before dads day!

So what the one with the horse on it for, to push vehicles in reverse, LOL.
Nice looking ride, I really like the blue color models!!!
Also noticed with your UCA pictures, you can see the difference in position of the BJ in and should help on the caster. I'm just surprise it doesn't allow to get it back to specs w/3" lifts. My experience that is.

I was surprised too. I had a Daystar 2 1/2 X 1 1/2 and was able to get Castor at 2.5. Upgraded when XREAS crapped out to a 3"+ and could only get .5. Now I've got more travel, stronger arms, should get better alignment #'s and they look cool too!!! Lol

It's not all that exciting, but I had to take my T4R to get her emissions check today. She passed with a "quick pass" at 116,364. I took her to a touch less car wash as a reward! :tongue:

Added a quart of "pink" coolant at 117, 502 miles as the reservoir was low and there was pink on timing belt cover and other areas on front of engine????? I didn't see any obvious leaks upon visual inspection. Going to monitor levels and see what happens.

Hope your leak is nothing major. Did you replace the tb and water pump yourself? I thought it was silly when I did mine that they have people make their own gasket with RTV where the thermostat housing connects to the water pump. That would be the first place I'd look for a leak, should be able to see it just under the throttle body without taking anything apart. :thumb3:

3 days later I added 2 more quarts to rad and overflow at 117, 518 when engine was cold. 1st q was added "only" to overflow when engine was hot. Took for a drive to bring to temp and pink level was full. As the engine cooled fluid level, in overflow reservoir, dropped to about 1/2 (between low and high) of overflow reservoir. Checked level this morning and the fluid level had dropped to about 1/3 so I topped off today, 6/30 after engine cooled overnight.
Cleaned off residue from hoses and areas that had pink on them. Time to monitor and inspect.

No...above my pay grade...lol. I had a Toyota dealer do it. Would these gaskets/connections have been taken apart/replaced during a timing belt H2O pump replacement?

Just picked her up from dealership - coolant leak is suspected to have been coming from radiator cap and getting sprayed by fan. No more leak when dropped off at dealership, pressure tested fine, and coolant has not been leaking since original "scare".
I had trany fluid + pwr steering fluid flushed and changed at 117,500 miles while it was in for coolant leak assessment!
phew...think I'm done with maintenance and repairs...for now.

Sorry, didn't see this. Yes, when they take the water pump out the gasket needs to be replaced. You "make your own" gasket with RTV for the connection between the wp and thermostat housing. Glad it wasn't your issue! :dancin:

Sadly, they tried to sell me my coolant level was low and when I checked it was perfect
Sadly, they said they filled my tires to 40 PSI, but they didn't: right where I left them after wheeling at 35! :uzi:
Glad I know better and pay attention! Still a fair price and windows got cleaned and interior vacuumed.

I have the original standard, not REAS, suspension on my 04 SR5 with 145K. There is no leakage but my ride seems hard. Mine is a city cruiser and I was gonna replace the front strut cartridges, bushings and strut mounts plus the rear shocks. I was going to order OEM from a dealer site for about $400. I dont want to raise or anything, I just want a smooth ride. Are there better OEM style packages that have similar prices? If my old stuff lasted 12 yrs, it must be good for my driving habits,no?

You could also look at running Billstein 5100's. I've read they match up well to T4R factory Springs. I would guess all will be good with OEM/Billies and your ride will be better than before. Most struts come with new bushings so should be a fairly straight forward swap.
