I am looking to wire up a monitor that will sit in between the back seats for my dvd player. Can anyone tell me where the easiest place to tap into power/ground is? Perhaps in the center counsel somewhere? I have the cig. lighter and I was thinking that perhaps... maybe someone has a better idea. Thanks in advance.

I would say tap into the 12v power socket by the gear shifter. It is very easy to access.

I agree, the cigarette lighter would be your best bet.
On a side note, How are you planning on mounting the monitor back there? I have 2 monitors i am planning on mounting, one is a 6.5 wide screen that i'm mounting right in front of the cup holders, and the second one is a 4 inch square monitor thats about 2 inches thick (it has speakers built into it) and i was going to mount that one in the back. I then was thinking of mounting it in the middle somewhere but not really sure how to intergrate it withthe console.

I bought a Manfrotto flexible arm and Superclamp. I just got it today in the mail so I don't know for sure it will work, but I am hoping the threaded end will screw right into the monitor. This system is used for mounting monitors and camera equipment. i'll let you know how it goes.
