Do you own a 5th Gen 4Runner? Is it a SR5? A TE? An LE or TRD Pro? Do you have a dealer installed alarm? How about aftermarket wheels? Did you buy it new or used?
Recently there have been a plethora of questions from people that provide NO INFORMATION to help the people who could answer the question! Example: "My 4Runner has an electrical problem that...." After about ten posts it comes to light that the dealer installed a crap aftermarket alarm. If that tidbit would have been put in the member's signature line then the issue could have been resolved much faster.
If you have a 4Runner, stock or modded, put all the particulars in your signature line! You can do this easily by going to the "User CP" located in the upper left corner of the page. This will help people who answer questions tremendously!
Now, there is also a place to put your Name, Location and Age. Your name is really not important. A general geographic location could help others though. I totally understand not wanting to list "127 Maple St, Bifwke, ID." There is no reason you can't put "Northwest, Rockies, Southeast, California or Florida." Cute little "In front of my computer" locations mean nothing (they are not clever either) and can't help anyone in answering your questions.
Lastly, age. Most don't care but it would be nice to know. There is no shame in being 52 (my age) or 22. I know many lie about this (I have no idea why) but if you are worried someone can determine your identity or location by this:
My name is Bob
Location is Pacific Northwest
Age 31

Then you really shouldn't be posting here or anywhere else! So help out the guys why want to help you! Put something in your signature line!
