Do these offer better coverage for splash / debris prevention or are they just a better material and fastener substitute?

I ordered them to mitigate the rattle/squeak noise the stock pieces produce at speed and on trails.

Between these and greasing the hood latch I’m hoping to eliminate the hushed squeaks I hear coming from the front.

Seriously though, they're great. I put them on my 5th and 4th gen. I asked about a set for the 2nd gen, and he offered to make them if I had a pattern to donate. Unfortunately my truck came to me without them. So if anyone has 2nd gen with good splash guards they want to donate...

Just ordered a set as well, these OEM ones are trash. I've got 13k miles on the truck and I've already went through 3 fasteners and the thing flaps in the wind with any speed.

Had these for about 6 months or so and they are great... completely eliminate the squeak and rattle I got on the free way from the OE ones. Totally worth doing.

heads up to everyone that ordered, talked to eddie at rad rubber today and he let me know that their press is down right now, with a new one en route by the end of next week if not sooner.

Mine shipped today, so it looks like they’re rolling again. Pumped to finally be rid of the faint rattle the stockers create.

Bought mine a while back very fast turnaround, I'm fortunate in that his shop is about 15 minutes from my house..No excuses, but I know Eddie has been totally swamped, messaged him a couple of months back about doing a set for my off road rig it took him a few weeks to get back to me, so I left it..He makes a great product, but it's hassle if you're wanting it quickly..

I got an email on Friday that they were working on 5th gen ones this past weekend. Hopefully they did because I didn’t realize it would take awhile when I placed an order. Would be nice if they were upfront about it on their website.
