rad rubber design replacement engine splash guards

Mine started to crack on my KDSS equipped rig... contacted Rad Rubber and they made me a new slightly larger one to try out and see if it cracks in the same place.

They also suggest coating them in Fluid Film to keep them from drying out which should help most people...

I love mine.

I got very tired of listening to my stock plastic ones flap around at speed and installed my RRD on Sunday. Looking forward to my next highway drive to see how they sound; they are MUCH beefier than stock.

I just installed a similar product on my Gen 4 from "Yota Liners" on Amazon.

$70 on Amazon

Looks like this one fits Gen 5
Amazon.com: Yota Liners Set of Four Splash Shields with Clips for 4Runner 2010-2020 (Fender Liner, Apron, Shield, Splash Guard, Skirt, Guard, Seal, Splash Seal) A : Automotive

Beefy material.

Comes with the generic push-pin splash-panel clips that you can buy for $9/100 all over the internet.

I'm pleased so far based on appearance, fit, and ease of installation. Time will tell about longevity.

It definitely seems that those with Rad Rubber who aren't having issues live in humid states.

I liked mine apart from the fit wasn't great and the fact they fell apart (as I posted above) after a few years. For sure need some type of rubber treatment in dry/desert states.

I have had mine for a year and a half and they are cracking. The stock set never cracked, I only replaced them because due to them squeaking.
