Radiator cover plugs ?

not sure what you call those grommet like plastic plugs that hold down the cover that is above the radiator . must be about 20 of them ? i have had my cover off twice to replace the horns & now they don't hold any more .
anybody know what they are called ? where can you get them cheap ?

Are you installing them correctly?

Before it put it in, push down on the sides of the top so the round center pops up and out the whole way. When you put it in the hole ,just push down gently til it's flush,not the whole way down in or it will be loose.

To release them to take them out,push the center down the whole way releasing them and then take them out. Mine are about worn out I've had them in and out so many times and I lost 2 somewhere and think the dog ate them.

I had removed mine 5 or 6 times without any wear until I learned I was doing it wrong. I was using a panel clip tool to pry up the center button then pulling the entire clip out with my fingers. The I tried the 'right' way of pushing the center button down and popping the button all the way up before reinstalling. That one try left them real loose. When I replace them, I'm going back to the wrong way.
