Thanks! I had a blast out there in the sand it was way deeper than I had anticipated which was great because it made for a little more serious off-roading. The tires change the look of the rig and the traction is great but as far as the noise level its horrible. Mind you I bought these used and one was worn a little unevenly, they also have a little over half tread left like 12/32 I believe its 18/32 new. Most people say they get noiser as they wear and I guess I'm in that stage, but people also say they are close to stock noise level when new. I think I might grab a set of hankook dynapro ats at some point but these will do for now. Just fyi I've had many ATs and MT tires and the way these run right now they are the loudest, but hey I still got ~21mpg on the way back from the beach which was great but city driving I have definitely lost at least a couple mpgs. Hosed the undercarriage down as soon as I got outta there. Good luck!
I know its been months since this was posted, but im just curious, HOW are you getting 21 MPG? My 4runner bone stock+ rook rack only gets average 15.4 MPG and its about even between highway and city. I have 245/75/16 Destinations on it right now and CANNOT seem to get any better fuel milage? Anybody have any suggestions?
