Rear coil insulator question

I'm upgrading my height to some LC coils.
There are no coil insulators (if that's the correct term). The rubber that sits on top of the coil with a few rings coming between the coils.
Can I run the LC coils metal to metal without future defects.
I was thinking without them can the coils pop out of place.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Did you run an isolator on your old coils? If so can those be reused on the LC coils? If so I'd use them. Metal on metal is probably not a good idea as the coil isn't 'isolated'. You could always try the dealer for LC isolators.

The rubber bump stops that sit inside the coils don't need to be reused, unless you want them for the additional lift height. There is no problem with having metal to metal contact, and early 3rd gens didn't even have them. You should be fine either way, but I wouldn't worry about it.
