I'm going to redo my vacuum lines, they're getting pretty worn out. I understand silicone is the dope, is any particular brand better than another?
Recommend me some vacuum hose?

I can only vouch for the stuff you can get from trail-gear. It's about $25 or so for a 10ft roll. It is good quality and will work well. I suggest that you get some EGR block off plates and get rid of all the excess vacuum lines. It helps clean up the engine bay and reduces possible vacuum leaks.

Well, ok, how do you define "excess" vacuum lines? Which ones can I pull without harming performance or emissions?
I'm a retarrd when comes to this kinda stuff, I'm not the fellow that can crawl under the hood and just start unplugging stuff and be able to fix it when the hit fits the shan.

If you get the EGR block off kit, the only vacuum lines you will be using are the power steering idle up, charcoal canister and the fuel pressure regulator. If you still have the A/C idle up vsv, you'll use that vacuum line too. But all other useless EGR related vacuum lines will go buh-bye. Between the EGR block off kit and vacuum line, you'll spend probably about $40 or so at LCEPerformance.com I highly recommend those guys. I have bought a lot of parts from them and their customer service has always been 100% top notch!

I'll second LCE, they have nice quality Silicone hose kits.

SV, do you have emissions testing in TN? Removing a grip of hoses sounds appealing, but I don't know that I'd pass inspection...
