Hey Guys,
So I had an eventful weekend...driving home late on Saturday night with the gf and was nearly T-boned by a driver that ran a red light. I was turning right at the intersection and saw him out of my left peripheral vision. I ended up swerving to the right to move out of the way and scraped the rear passenger side on a light post. Good thing the T4R is pretty nimble because I would have been hit on the drivers side and the gf and I would've been in bad shape. The guy was flying around 50+ in a 25mph zone.
Anyways, I was looking to get some of the scratches out from the side and came across RestorFX. They have locations all over the US apparently. They specialize in paint restoration and can fix minor scratches. They were able to wet sand the clear coat to remove the scratches and then reapplied a layer of clear coat to reseal the paint. Overall, I'm happy with the fix. A few of the deeper scratches are still left, but are less noticeable.
Thought you guys might be interested to see how the before and after shots looked. It might be a good fix for some light trail rash or rock chips as well.
