Hello all, I finally bought a set of Rigids, 1 10in hybrid combo and 2 6in. amber to mount on the Gobi rack. I have the tube mounts and I am wondering how most have run the wires. I have searched a bunch of threads but very little info on exactly how they did it. The factory wiring harness is good for mounting on a light bar up front but mounting on the top of the truck is beyond me. If there is anyone in the area I have a case of whatever you drink, and chow if you would be willing to help with this endevor. Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike-
Hopefully I can help a bit.
The Gobi Stealth racks come with runners of wire inside the tube already, I memory serves me corectly, there two wires on each side of the rack, running front to back. After you get your lights mounted you have to decide how you want them wired…. independently or together so one switch turns them all on. Connect your wires accordingly and run them down the rear section of the black drip rail covering and into one of the rubber grommets the goes from the tailgate to the truck, you can fish these through and pull the weatherstrip off the truck to get to em. Also, figure out what kind of SPST switch you want to use up front, get it mounted. From here, how people go about the wiring is personal preference but this is the way I did it.
I ran fused leg of 8ga wire from the pos batt. terminal all the way to the rear of the truck (you can do this a few ways, inside of the truck or oustide). I connected this 8ga fused link to a fused power distrubition panel (Blue Sea makes it) and one of the fused outputs from the panel and connected that to the hot side of a standard 12V relay. Connect the switched side of the relay to your pos. wire coming off your roof and ground the other one to chassis. Connect the rest of the wires properly so teh relay will function, including a small gauge switched power wire from your cockpit mounted switch to switch the relay and lights on / off. You can hide all this crap under the back panels, they are kind of a pain to take off but it makes for a clean install.
Sorry if there are a bunch of holes in my advise, I have about 5 minutes before I gotta hit the road. I'm sure someone else will fill in the gaps.
