- Radflo 2.5 Extended Travel (#650 springs)

- Method Race Wheels - NV 17"

- 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2's


Exterior:

- Yakima Skybox 18

- AVS window visors

- Plastidipped emblems

- Satoshi grill

- Shrockworks front bumper


Lighting:

- Rigid Industries DOT/SAE fog lights

- Lightforce 240 XGT (awaiting install)


Slowly but surely....this hobby is expensive...oh well.

What I came from. Still part of the Toyota family of course! 07' Toyota Tacoma Prerunner TRD Sport.



Had a baby coming on board so wife wanted more interior room and I wanted a 4WD w/ leather seats. This is what we came up with and the day that we traded it in.

Have done a few things this past month..

Satoshi mod

After a PITA shrockworks bumper that was modified for a BL and fiberglass fenders, I finally got it fitted.

Hacked and mocked it up to fit...here's a pic of a buddy giving a hand.

Phil from TW rewelding the wings back on...

Still gotta paint and get a few spots clear from rust, also try and lower it to get that 1/4"-1"2 gap from bumper to body.

I recommend some retrofitted HID lights...but only because I just picked up the exact same car and I'm wanting to retrofit my headlights too!

haha, thanks for the suggestion, upgrading the projectors would be a good idea but I was gearing more towards an LED bar/pods. still need fog lights to fill in the bumper.

My vote is for Coilovers, I dont see the point in a retrofit for your headlights when the 06+ came with projectors from the factory. HIDs in them and you are good to go. Good start and congrats on the little one on the way.

If you just throw in HID's into the stock projectors they will blind oncoming traffic and not really throw the beam pattern correctly. You can modify the "squirrel finders" inside the projector, but at that point you might as well do the retrofit.

I'm happy with the Quick-Retro from TRS.

Can't say I agree as the stock projectors keep the same cutoff as the halogen bulb, the optics stay the same. You act like he has reflector housings.

Multiple coast to coast drives, 18,000 miles, and six months later, I've had less than a handful of people flash me. Aim your headlights properly and stick to an oem K* color and you're good. Glad you're happy with your purchase though.

rigid fog lights to fill in the holes in the shrockworks and a 20" heretic LED bar on the way. Not sure where to mount the bar. Was thinking inside the grill, but I'm worried about how much light output would be blocked by the mesh. Considering mounting it on top of the bumper. suggestions?

backed out on 20" heretic and went for the light force 240 XGT's.

Time for fog light anytime mod and some HIDs in the headlights. Patiently waiting for my 240's to come in on Tuesday.
