Sacto locals!!

Yeah, I don't know where they (StellarBuilt) get the numbers from. I had them quote me out a full Dobinsons kit and the install was 750 with a 120 balance. I've been quoted 2-3 hours so they're charging $250 an hour for non-fab work?

$750 for a suspension install? That seems absurd. I’m thinking $350-400 for the 3 hours seems right. That’s 2 hours for the front and an hour for the rear. Can’t imagine it taking much longer than that. That quote settles things from me and I’m going to jump head first into doing it myself.

Did a couple run in Foresthill, just exploring. Was kinda fun and pretty light for anyone looking to get their feet wet. Let me know and I'll go!

I'd be down, needs to be a weekend, maybe next Sunday head out early?
I’d be interested too (if I can remember to check in on the forum - been a while since I’ve been on but looking to make it a good wheeling season this summer).
Spring is pretty much here and Foresthill is calling. I'm available most weekends too. Weekdays with some notice.

If the timing works I'd be interested as well. My tires are garbage off-road but seeing that it's a 4Runner that's still doing better than most!

I'm going to head up tomorrow and check things out. I'd like to see how much snow is left past Robinson Flat and hit some side trails but I'm open to whatever. PM me if anyone is interested.

I plan on running Sourgrass trail (off HWY 4 past Arnold) on Sat. 5/29. Anyone interested in joining me?

Edit: details for the run are posted at: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3637268-post194.html

Damn, I was planning to do a thing at Folsom Lake on that date. I need my sliders to come if I'm going to do Sourgrass (i'm a different 4runner now).

Sparky 97Runner do you want to do Signal Peak the 22nd? There are tons of trails out there. Anyone interested pls chime in

Sorry for late reply, I haven't checked in here in a bit

Unfortunately I am unavailable next week, 5/22. I've been a little apprehensive about doing Signal Peak because of the mixed reviews of difficulty but I think I'd be willing to give it a go some other weekend.

All good, Signal Peak is pretty easy unless the winter screwed up the trail, there is a bypass for the one spot that's somewhat difficult. I've been there a dozen times.

Do you have sliders on your rig?

Actually I can made the 28th work if we aim for like 11am-12pm, I need to do some work in the morning.

I don't think you need sliders for Signal Peak, but my sliders are coming in this week. I could be wrong as I haven't seen the trail in a while

Dope! Let me know if you guys head out. I’m setting up a few day trips/photo shoots next month for content I’ll post up dates and times later this month.

That works for me. Post a time and location and I'll be there.

Awesome, let's meet at Shell by the Bass Pro/Walmart Plaza, address: 5500 Schriber Way, Rocklin, CA 95677, (38.798831, -121.204737) at 11:30pm on Friday May 28th.

We'll take 80 up to exit 164, Eagle Lakes Road.

I have a compressor, airing down is recommended as the beginning is bit bumpy due to small rocks. Not necessary, just more comfortable.

Sparky 97Runner also anyone else that's interested, let me know so we can wait
