You do know ARB is an import right? Every crate I have unwrapped for them still has the Chineese customs labels on crates.

the point is, you have to bed liner or plastidip the taiwan one you were selling to make it feel the same as the ABS Safari uses. there for its not good enough

Most things are made overseas, I don't mind that. I have seen the taiwan version and it's less than desirable. And if I'm drilling some big ass holes in my truck, I'd like some quality construction. That's all.

Honestly, the way I found out about the ARB snorkel being on hold was because I called a friend, someone close to the project to get one for my new 2015. I did not want to do the fiberglass snorkel again. I found out that I was not likely going to be able to buy an ARB version so I ordered the FTS one.

Maybe just put a supercharger on it. Air inlet looks high enough.

The point is I think some of us would like to go with the tried and true ARB Safari snorkel if we're going to be doing a permanent mod to the vehicle. I hope it's released, if not then I'll live without it, it's more of a want than a need.

Hello! We would like to thank you for the interest expressed in the upcoming Safari Snorkel for the Toyota 4Runner. Contrary to what has been posted on some forums, Safari is moving forward with the development and production process for these new applications. It has been slower than expected, but there have been several prototype iterations to ensure maximum functionality and solid aesthetics which has delayed the project more than originally anticipated.



We have recently heard back from Safari that they are moving into the final tooling steps and will beginning production soon. Please rest assured that ARB USA is strongly pushing for these products and we have taken the feedback from the prototype models back to Safari to adopt into the final versions. Safari and ARB are both very excited to fill several US specific applications in the near future!
