I really like this snorkel. If you look at Lawndart's front end photos, it really doesn't seem to stick out that far from the body lines and front tip of the quarter panel (and aftermarket bumper). Do I "need" one right now? Probably not. Did I get water in my airbox from my last fun jaunt through a giant mud-hole? Yes. However, that jaunt could have been avoided (personality flaw to never back down from a challenge will bite me one day). That being said, it might be nice to not have to think about what I'm driving through and just go... so there is that. My truck is still my DD, so I need it to stay in one piece. But it may not always be that way. There are other projects I would rate above this, to make my vehicle better for camping (which is mostly the point of my ever-so-slow (-because-of-puppies) build). I have enjoyed the updates on this thread and I do hope to have one of these one day... just maybe not right now.

You need it Corey, I've seen how you drive... just tell the dogs they are getting kibble this month versus filet mignon.

It looks right at home with my +2 Long Travel and 35s, which isn't exactly easy to do for most people, but that said it didn't look like shit either on my 285s + Icon Stage 6.

Sweet! Weird how it looks so much smaller in your pic. Must be the angle. I think it looks better on a darker rig too. Can't wait to get mine!

Don't forget it's other uses. While at the mall, or during a road rage incident, you can rip it off and beat someone with it :bash:

I'm going to Plasti-Dip mine silver for my silver 4Runner. I kid, I kid. I agree though that it looks better or a bit less obtrusive on darker trucks.
