Umm, just to be realistic, I've heard sometime 2017. But we could be surprised.
I just say this because I have beat the crap out of my snorkel and it's showing some fatigue, so they are likely building me another 3D printed version in case mine breaks. To me that's an indicator the snorkel may be off a bit more than we'd like.

Since I don't work for ARB or Safari Snorkel I can't say for sure. At this point I'm being told the same thing as you guys, "2 months.." which is usually asked after 2 months. If I had to guess at this point? 2017. Fall 2016 if we're lucky.

Pretty sure I could find a photo of a golden unicorn too. Fact is, until this thing is for sale to the general public, it might as well not exist, because it is unattainable for everyone except for you.

I'm sorry Safari isn't working on your schedule, Jono.
Until then I'm trying to answer questions and provide photos rather than EVERYONE being left in the dark. I have admittedly a little more access to floating questions to ARB/Safari, but even I'm chomping at the bit to replace my 3D Printed version with the stronger injection molded production model.
I know the designs are done, validated, but it's not up to me when they tool up and start making them. As I've said before I carry more risk here than ANYONE else involved, since if the product never comes out I'm stuck with a snorkel that could give up the ghost and leave me with a huge repair bill.

Coincidentally I just got an email from ARB and while I can't get into specific schedules, I can re-assure you this will come out this year, and sometime soon I'll be heading back up to Renton for a test fitting with the actual injection molded version.
Assuming that goes well, they'll begin producing them and we'll see who here has the testicular fortitude to actually put their money where their mouths are and drill some huge holes in their fenders.

As there is no viable alternative, it's pretty moot to speculate or even argue over the production timeline of the Safari snorkel. But if people are impatient and desperate due to a planned river crossing or some biblical event in the coming weeks, no one's stopping them from using a sawzall, duck tape and PVC pipe for the same effect albeit in a ghettofab way...just be sure to post pics.
