It doesn't add any noise to your vehicle. None.

Nice, so no induction suction while cruising with the windows down? I don't at all mind it if there's some when you get on it, I just don't want to subject a passenger to a Hoover nozzle when rolling around at cruising speeds.

You'll hear a TINY bit of suction if you FLOOR it, but you have to basically be listening for it. No added whistle or anything else.
I think I've been running this the longest of anyone, even ARB hasn't used it as long as me, and after a week you'll forget the snorkel is even installed. It just kinda disappears.

Snorkel should be here on Wednesday. Duplicolor MGM touch-up paint, Toyota fender clips, LocTite 243, and metric step drills ordered and on the way.

I apologize for my ignorance, but can someone link a pic of these clips. I searched and you guys mentioned clips, but not sure which clips are you guys talking about.
Also, is new clips necessary or can we use our old clips. Currently, I had my snorkel delivered to a buddy's house, and plan on installing it over easter weekend, so I haven't had the chance to check out the installation manual, and sourcing clips over this holiday weekend might be an adventure in itself.

Got mine installed today. Very happy with how it turned out. Pretty straight forward. The grommet fasteners were definitely a pain. Glad I purchased new ones because I cut most of them off. Sorry for the filthy rig. The bi-polar PNW weather has not helped with the cleanliness. At least one fender is clean!

Expensive lesson:
Tighten down the ram head as tight as you can. I managed to lose mine in one of those drive through, gas station car washs last night. The cost of replacement will make your head spin, and those replacement ram heads aren't being stocked locally at your neighborhood offroad shop (arb states its a 4 inch opening, and very few of their snorkels are using the ram head with a 4 inch inlet opening at the moment). Learn from my mistake....lol's.

Lol. That sucks. Your truck fits in a car wash? Not sure if a lifted runner would fit especially with a rack. How do you plan on keeping the rain out for the time being till your replacememt shows?

i live in SD, it rains like once a decade, so I"m not worried about rain/water. I'm more worried about about haters. At the moment, I cover it with a sock when parked on the street, and I take off sock when I drive....lol.

Heed this advice folks, there is a reason most car washes warn about not using them with aftermarket parts. I still remember the guy who had his Baja rack ripped out of his roof by a drive through car wash, not pretty.

I don't have to worry about this because my princess has never and will never be taken through an automated car wash, lol. I did notice the head on the ARMAX snorkels is quite a bit larger than the standard Safari Snorkel. As mentioned above it is a 4" diameter rather than 3"-ish. The 3" ones aren't cheap to replace either from what I hear.
