Safari snorkel on a 5th gen?

Got another 1/3 of the way done, my daughter(6) got sick this afternoon so didn't get to start until I could get her in bed and asleep. I bet this would be much easier if I was actually doing it during the day and not working at 11pm.

That said I'm finishing tomorrow for sure, I think I just need to put it in and bolt it down plus replace liner and I'm done. I'm guessing my total time will be about 4.5hrs, spread over three late nights! :ranger:
 
Done! I will echo what others have said, the fit and finish are excellent. Overall it really isn't that hard of a mod, slow and steady and follow directions. I'll take pics and post in my build thread tomorrow in daylight.

a little help?

Can anybody post up what size drills are needed for the install?
I wanted to do this install tomorrow, but forgot to look at the instructions and make a list of drill bits required.
I am at work and i would like to borrow these drills from our tool crib today.
much appreciated.

The fender holes are supposed to be 16mm and the A-pillar holes HAVE to be 8mm.

The only bit you need is a quality step bit. Buy one if you don't have one.
 
You asked a question, guy gave you an answer. The instructions state use a step bit, but technically, you can use whatever you like at your disposal to make a 8mm hole.

I only offered what ARB, and their engineers, have stated is needed for the install.

It's on ...ARB did a great job designing it. It's definitely a beast x2 and aesthetically, it will grow on me...all in all ..hell yeah

In my experience, I have had constant fitment issues with the rear flares, just a poor design..fitment wise IMO.

Maybe, they would be fine for pavement pounding but beating the hell out of them off-road constantly, hmmm I'm just tired of messing w/them
