So I gave the keys to my friend who is going to take care of my TE while I'm in Afghaniland... I think I have a bit of separation anxiety about it. If I could take it with me I would.

He'll get a whole new set of toys issued to him for his deployment, some really nice vehicles like MRAPs, RG-31s and Cougars.

-Mileage was 36124 when I handed over the keys, it will be driven washed and serviced while I'm gone so I'm happy.
-I won't be in an MRAP, however I will more than likely have a Hilux or Prado while I'm out there :banana:.
I'll lurk the forum when I have time over there, keep up the good work on the mods and tech advice. Also I will probably order a Gobi Stealth Rack about a month before I get back.

Really? That long? I was thinking of going with 4x 6" Rigids in the front, is there any considerations I need to take when ordering so they can put mounts?
Also does anyone have a take on Baja Design lights? The only thing I know is that they have a strobe function for daytime use on the trail.

Hey brother,
I've got a gobi stealth and Rigids I bought while out here in Afghaniland. Keep in mind, the edge of the rack will dip down lower and run into the lights. I have 2 6" Rigid SRs on the outside and a 10" SR in the middle. I had to bring the 6" lights forward in order for them to clear the roof rack. Now granted, you can have Gobi modify the rack for a 40" SR (or so I've seen)
