Shrockworks Bumper - Lights, yes or no?

I am likely going to be purchasing a shrockworks bumper soon and I am pondering if I want to get the lights or not. I do think the lights look a little bit better but I was wondering for those of you have that lights, what do you think?

How was the wiring to get them installed? Are they easy to turn on/off?

Do you use them when driving on regular roads or just back roads/camping related stuff?

Are they durable? How hard/annoying are they to replace if they burn out or break?

Are you talking about the turn signals that come with the bumper? the factory fog lights that transfer over to the Shrockworks? or the PIAAs they list as an accessory?

I am talking about the optional lights you can get to come with the SW bumper for like another 250 bucks you can 6-7" lights as part of the Bumper, they are the PIAA 520/580 option

Just to be clear. The PIAAs that they sell are intended for the top of the bumper. That is something you can easily add later on.

PIAAs wiring is very easy and installer friendly. Their button leaves a lot to be desired. Double sided tape on switches are tacky (no pun intended). They can be wired to turn on and off as you please. In VA, they must turn off when high beams are engaged. Unless, you have covers for them, which PIAA doesn't include.

The PIAAs you have to work with are all street legal. Properly aimed, you can use them at anytime.


PIAA has a very good reputation in the automotive industry. They are very durable and bulbs are easily replaced.
