Shrockworks sliders pic request

Im thinking about buying some Shrockworks sliders but I would like to see how they mount on the frame since they are a bolt on I cant find any mounting pics, everyone in my town wants to charge me like $250.00 to weld on some sliders so that's why I'm going this route.

I don't wheel my Runner that much but I do want my rockers to protected when I go.

I have the shrockworks...I will try to snap a couple of pics for you. I am not very inclined mechanically and I had no problem putting them on. Two people makes it an easier task but can be done by one person. I will say though that if I was to buy sliders now after having these...I wouldn't buy them again I would buy another brand. These hug right up to the sills with zero room to be used as any kind of step. Its actually a poor design in my opinion.

ReconCmdr is right, these unlike most all of our sliders are really tight to the body and dont provide much of a step. That can be changed though, shoot me a PM for details if your interested.

From the pictures on their website they appear to offer very little protection at the ends. (meaning between the wheels and the end of the sliders.)
 
Appears the bolts are more to hold the sliders to the truck - the gusset or whatever you call it underneath the frame seem like they would do most of the weight bearing. I guess there could be a little leverage action too - but again, the bolts only have to hold the mounts to the frame, and the force would be transferred to the frame.

You are correct, they do seem to be aboug 1.5 inches short on each end, leaving a small area to be exposed. I didn't measure exactly but I noticed it when i was installing them.

I beat the piss out of these things a few weeks back running the Rubicon. They more than held up to the task.

Having said that, I would never have purchased Shrockwork sliders if I had to order and deal with them. I got these because a neighbor bought them for his rig and ended up going a different route so I got these for a next door deal that I couldn't pass up. Plus being bolt on I could install myself without welding.

They are well made and super strong IMHO.
