Being in a Heep now he doesn't have anything that hangs down.

I used a small tie wrap to hold it up in place. A small one will be weak enough that the weight of the tire will break it loose when lowered, but strong enough to hold the chain out of sight.

I used small ones and they never broke. You'll be fine then.
