I replaced my plugs at 43K, this is how they looked:
Not sure what modern engines show reading plugs, but my dirtbike would be telling me that it's a little lean if the plugs were this color.

Anybody know if this is normal?

Note: Engine is bone stock, run 1 tank of 93 every 3/4 tank, otherwise 87.

Look fine to me. Why change at 43K? Normal is past 100K.

Its not dangerously lean at all. Actually I would be happy with how they look. In addition to that, they all look the same which is all a plus in my eyes.

From prior experience with aluminum heads, I know sometimes plugs can be very hard to remove after 50K miles (not sure 100% sure why - galvanic corrosion or heat or both), so I figured I would take a look. I was a little surprised that the insulator was so light.

No problems, just curious. Maybe it's just me but in the past I have had trouble removing plugs period. 20K with cast heads, 50K with aluminum. Time or material it seems does not matter with me. There have been a few easy times but no rhyme or reason in respect to material of head.
