I put in a factory E7007 nav unit in my 4R. I was on Ebay not too long ago and a seller had his nav unit on there and said it came with this connecot for the camera and speed sensor. i emailed him and he said it is available from toyota as he works in the parts dept. he never got back to me on the part number.

does anyone know the part number for this connector so i done have to make up my own.

If it's a 4 pin connector the number is 90980-12211. That connector only does the camera.

There is no 'speed sensor' the speed read out that is on the navigation is measure by the GPS antenna that determines your rate of speed.

insguy did you get the nav unit from Toyota, or someplace else. Do you mind sharing what you paid for it? Thanks.
i was wrong on the model number it was E7008 not E7007.

i read on here that a connector was needed to make the turn by turn work correctly that splices in the wire behind the storage compartment. did i read this wrong?

i bought the unit on Ebay with a buy it now. you really don't want to know what i paid for it. lets say it was under 300.00.

There is for the OEM navigation. Without the reading from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), the map tracking acts erratically, it's doesn't scroll smoothly.

thats it, is the part number for the camera plug the same for the camers as the (VSS). that last link unless i missed something did not tell me the plug for the (VSS)

Part number for the 5-pin connector that's used for the Speed/Reverse/Optional Parking Brake connections should be: 90980–11909. Not exactly positive on this one since mine was supplied with the NAV system.

The one for the backup camera/microphone connections is: 90980–12404

I installed an E7007 (same as E7008 but with green lighting) a few months ago. You definitely need to hook up the speed wire or the map scrolling will behave erratically and you will not get voice navigation.

Hope that helps!
