Ok, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I had one of these before on my 2011 SR5P 4x4, and didn't think it was worth it and sold it. I got another a month ago for my Limited 4x4, and it definitely makes driving more enjoyable. I did turn it off yesterday on my drive home from work, and it sucked. I would definitely recommend getting one if you're on the fence about it.

Yea, it's funny. I've had some long time customers that I've sold just about everything to, and some don't think this can work or fix the problem. I tell everyone, "if you don't say "Holy sh!t after putting it on, you can return it, full refund" and no one has yet.

Anyone ordering today, will have in 1-2 days, UPS express. Order while you still can as things are starting to get shut down with suppliers.

Good point - those heater core pipes are real darn close to those wires.

Indeed - Dress them with some pipe insulation first for sure. Burn mark on my hand took a few days to subside :embarassed:

The wire however for the Sprint booster is at the bottom so you either have to remove the blank all together and then the Sprint Booster is too small to be able to stick to the sides or you have to drill a pretty big hole near the bottom of the blank switch to get the connector and wire to fit through it which probably won't work. So this is what I did. Any other suggestions?

You have to be careful doing this and make the sure wires are in the correct order. The hole is a little bit above the bottom so it’s hidden when the SB is installed over it. The location of the hole was kind of dependent on the ribbing structures on the backside of the blank, where I could fit a drill bit easily. With a severe bend to the wire under the velcro attached SB body it’s barely noticeable and it’s securely attached.

Thanks. Did you have some sort of tool to get the wires back in? Looked very small to try and pull the wires out and then try and put them back in and crimp it down.

You don’t take out the wires themselves, but the pin which is crimped to each wire. There’s a tiny retainer tab on one side of the connector. One for each pinned wire. I took a tiny flat blade jewelers screwdriver and carefully bent it up a little while lightly pulling on the wire. It comes out of the connector with the crimped pin. Notice the orientation of the pin so you can reinstall it in the proper direction. When you do it will seat itself with a click. Be very gentle.
If it’s a different style pin and connector than the one I have you may have to push down on the metal tab retainer of the pin itself to remove the pin and wire from the connector. Then reform the retainer tab a little before reinstalling back into the connector.
If you’d like, post a clear closeup photo if you can of that connector and we can verify what to do. But once you remove the connector from the SB it will probably make sense. Good luck. Let us know the results.

No Fob

So, once you have the Sprint Booster set to where you like it, electronically just unplug the fob. Unit on the pedal remains. Put the wire in the glove box. The unit will retain your settings. If you want to change it, plug in and change. I have found that my favorite setting is Sport 5. I leave it there and wire is in the box, stored.

I had the same dilemma so I went up higher with it on the upper row and then used a small file to make space for the wire to run through the panel seam below as I didn't want to bend it at almost a 90. I'm sure it would be fine as most do that but this option seems good enough for me I'm never going to remove it from that location.

I just put mine in this morning. It took me an hour to make a mounting point for it because I am CDO like that. The actual Sprint Booster took 11 minutes, 10 of which were waiting for the CAN system to do it's thing. I just did a quick drive on Sport 5 and it is a remarkable change. Worth every penny!

I went from a V8 to this V6 and while I knew what I was doing I still miss the V8. Will this work on the 2020?

I looked at the the part numbers online for the "SENSOR ASSEMBLY, ACCELERATION" (AKA Gas pedal) from 2010-2019. Sorry no 2020 in the system yet. The PN's follow through 2019 and I don't believe there is any changes for 2020.

Cruise Control - No issues reported with standard CC but nothing posted about adaptive CC. I suspect it will work fine because the radar sensor sends a signal to the ECU. Your pedal moving is an artifact of that. As long as the sensor and ECU work "I think it will work"

The new question I have is, does this effect the emission tests, will it get flagged or is it detectable by the smog machines?
