Hope some one can help me with my problem. Just bought a '89 4rn. V6 really clean (I will post some pics) anyway... the front end has the "squeeks". Not real bad, but enough to be very annoying.

I have to get this fixed! So what do I need to do. Does it need to be greased? If I take it to my local auto repair guy is he going want big $$ to correct. Or is this a common problem with a somewhat affordable solution.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

What type of squeek?

A squeek to me means belt. They can be changed in under an hour with simple tools. Anyway you can get a video or sound clip so we can better help you?

Sorry I should have been more specific on the squeek. Belts are all good. This is diffenently the suspension in the front end. I can hear it only when the truck is moving and it is coming when the front end comes up and down through normal driving...

Thanks for the imput Hyde... is this type of thing a simple fix by Auto mechanic? Identifying and repairing is low cost or is it time consuming and costly...?

It does seem like busings or something that are just dried out or worn out...

I'm going to say either wheel bearings or control arm bushings(these are not fun to replace). Does it go away after the truck has warmed up in a few miles? Does it happen only on bumps, or is it speed related?
regards

It never goes away. If I push or rock the front no squeek. But I hear it when I going a low speeds and the truck bounces a little.
