Starting the 5th Gen

Ok, so before anyone jumps my s$!# and suggests that I "turn the key"...I got my 5th gen SR5 back in April 2012. Every now and then, I turn the key and the engine doesn't catch. The starter is working, the engine is turning over, the battery is new, and on the second turn of the key, it starts up.

Before I waste a day in the Toyota service center, has anyone had a similar problem? I DID do a search on here and didn't find anything. I know how anal some of you are about trying searches first......

Haven't had it happen on the 4R, but on my Taco there was a TSB for a no start condition. If the engine was running, and you turn it off and leave it on acc for a while, then go to restart it, it would not start until you turn ignition off and back on. It would spin and spin, but the fuel injectors would not pulse. Simple update flash fixed it.

Not sure if it is the same problem or not, but occasionally my MRoadster has that issue. It only happens when I jump in, stick the key in and try to start it real quick. Other MRoadster owners also have this issue. It seems the problem is that the fuel pressure doesn't have time to build up. The solution is to put the key in and as you turn the key to start it just pause a fraction of a second at the position where the accessories come on (just before the position where the starter starts).

I've had that happen twice before. Each time was after I had the battery disconnected for an extended period of time.
