Well, I have changed my steering rack bushings...no improvement.
I also swapped the tires and wheels from my tundra to the 4runner one at a time and I thought that I figured out which tire was bad. With the tundra tires and wheels, the truck is perfectly smooth. I contacted Hercules Tire company for a replacement tire. They sent me one free!! But, naturally, it was a bad tire also. I took it to my shop and had it road force balanced with the hawke adapter...bad tire. It would only tune to 34 lbs road force and you could visibly see the tire bouncing up and down on the balance machine while the rim was perfectly smooth.
So I guess I will have to purchase a new set of tires.
