"Streaming Bluetooth Audio from iphone" <--- thread title

This is an iPhone thread. BlackBerry information is not needed, and is nothing short of trolling.

Anyone paired an iphone 4 to their T4R yet? I'm hoping to get one on Tuesday (Thanks for canceling my order, AT&T!) :rockthrow:

got the iphone 4 few days ago and was immediately able to pair it to the bluetooth audio HOWEVER i've unable to get it linked to the phone for some reason. The car discovers the phoone for streaming audio but not for making phone calls...

I've had a problem connecting both the phone and music via bluetooth at the same time. It seems like it will only connect to 1 or the other, not both. If I end the BT connection to the phone, I can easily get the connection to the BT audio.

No problems with iPhone 4. Pair it as a phone, then choose with music option. Works great for both phone calls, music, pandora, slingbox, etc.

I had a 3GS iPhone, and upgraded to an iPhone 4. My 3GS would connect perfectly for BT phone calls and streaming audio, but, my iPhone 4 will connect for BT phone calls only, no streaming audio at all (it says it cannot find a portable player, please check player settings). Do any of you have any idea how to fix this problem?

Oh, and please, as mentioned before: enough with BlackBerrys, Droids, etc.....this is an iPhone thread.

Update: I tried it again today and the phone and BT media worked fine together. I guess somthing was fixed in iOS4 for 3GS. I upgraded earlier in the week.

I had to register my iPhone 4 both as a phone and audio device separately to make it work.

I hear you on the droid trolls, its getting annoying.. Fanboyism is so lame.

dcon: Thanks for the info! I'll try it in a little bit.

I can see we share a taste for fine vehicles. I also own a Mercedes, although it is a 2005 E500 (much older than yours).

Yes, both are fine automobiles. A 2005 Merc is not old at all, Mercs age well with their timeless styling.
