Screw all you drunks, I'm stuck at work till 6:00 AM.

Since I only live 10 min from the park, I'll probably brave the elements. Maybe 1:00 PM or so after I wake up.

Dax -

Thanks for putting on the meet. I think I will begin to play more on this website.
I would like to give props too to Burtman Industries for the gift certificate.

Cheers !

I know, I know

It is taking me a while to post pictures. Sunday I spent working on house chores (building a basement bathroom)

I took some great photos, I am working on the write up as we speak. Check back around Noon. I'll have something put together by then.

hey dax...

it's a ton of fun...i actually help run the league...we have permits for fields in federal hill/south baltimore (riverside/latrobe parks) and there's a seperate league in canton (patterson park)...we have over 130 teams between both leagues, and we average around 20 people per team...people travel from as far as DC to play in our league...the league is sponsored by coors light, which makes it possible for our sponsor bars (Federal Hill/South Baltimore: Mother's, Ropewalk, Magerk's, and Truman's & in Canton/Fells Point: Pickled Parrot, JD's Smokehouse, and Shucker's) to sell $1.50 coors light bottles and $2 blue moon bottles every game night...we have games on wednesday and thursday nights at both locations! to tell you the truth, the average age is anywhere between 28 to 30...we have alot of company teams playing in the league...the funny thing is that my wife and i have seperate teams! our spring season has already started, but if you or any friends are interested in the future, we can always throw you all on a team together, if you didn't have enough for an entire team...the other league that i play in is a co-ed two hand touch football league: www.sobosports.com - that's a saturday league...

take it easy...

mike

I played last year. Our team shirt was pink. Prolly why we didn't win as much. The color sucked the testosterone right out of us. :p

I could not find an actual address to the park, but if you can find this Brunswick Zone Bowling Alley at
8419 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043
you will be within a mile of the park's entrance (coming from 29 that is)
Direcctions According to me
Coming from 95 North:
Take 695 towards TOWSON
695 to 70 West
70 West to 29 South
29 south to 40 east
As you drive down on 40 east, you'll see a Honda dealer (Odonnell Honda ) on your left, cotinue thru a couple of lights, you'll pass the Brunswick Zone Bowling Alley(on your right), entrance is on the right about a mile past the bowling alley.

Coming from 95 South:
Take 695 towards Catonsville
695 to Rt. 40West
On Rt. 40 West (right after you pass "Russell Toyota") you'll drive on a long downhill, once you go over the bridge the park entrance on your right.

Direcctions as per the State Park Website.
Hollofield Area - From the Beltway (I-695) take Rt. 40 West (Exit 15). Follow Rt. 40 West 2 miles to the park entrance on the right.

From I-70/Rt. 29 take Rt. 29 South (Exit 87) to Rt. 40 East 2 miles to the park entrance on the right.
