This is a hard one. After much consideration it is Dirtco for me. The fabrication work is what did it for me. I understand how much time and work it takes, the busted knuckles etc... To all the other guys, I hope to get my truck there one day. I'm so jealous of so many truck on this forum no matter what Gen. Great work to all of you guys.

I've seen the rig in person. I've run my hands over the welds, talked to the creator about the methodology, and witnessed both form and function exist together in one rig at the highest level that I believe they can in a 3rd gen that is still built more/less around the factory platform.

For added cool factor, the rig has been built in part with the old bones of his former 'Yotas. And if you think he's got access to the same tools as a full tilt fab shop, you'd be surprised. The guy is making it happen with a set of tools that most people here would call an "average" collection for an enthusiast.

Plus, if he wanted to put a solid axle up front he would. And he'd do it in about a month, but with some custom tweaks that would blow the doors off anything we've seen this year. Then it would be copied repeatedly, because it would be that good. Finally, to wrap it up, he'd run it up the nastiest sets of rocks available (that he hasn't already run) between California and Maine...with style.

Hands down, T4ROTY qualified.

I need to hear their stance on prominent issues in our culture today. I need to know more about their worldviews. I can't just pick from a photo of a truck. This needs to be like a pageant where the Q&A session matters more than the swimsuit portion.

I deem these questions as appropriate for this contest:

1) oil: synthetic, blended, or pure oil? why?

2) solid axle or IFS? why?

Or maybe we need some with more of an ethical flavor:

5) You see a stuck Jeep. Earlier on another trail, the Jeep driver mocked you. Would you assist with an extraction?

6) A young attractive female walking by yells out a nice compliment about your truck. Your wife is standing next to you. How do you respond?

Dirtco's rig is a beautiful color, one that I see every morning. I hope all have seen pics of his trailer.

Side props to Antman, who fishes in a boat made by a company where my cousin is employed. I fish in one as well. And wow to surviving that spider bite. My girlfriend's brother once woke up during a camping trip to find a rattlesnake in his sleeping bag. Never has been camping again.

Been debating this vote off and on. Came down to BF and Dirtco. Went with Dirtco after reading this. How could I not?
