I started out on this forum back in March of 2015. I've always been mechanically inclined and ever since I went offroading with my cousin when I was 13 I knew I wanted to build a capable rig. The mod bug started with RC cars and then moved to this. I'm doing this mainly so I can look back but also to share my work with others.

My first mod was my speakers but I don't really have any pics so here's my next mod: Satoshi, a Nice Coat of Wax, and Duratracs.

Well I got my lights for my bumper today. I still don't know how PIAA's are supposed to fit in there because there is literally no documentation of putting lights in CBI bumpers. I looked at them and assumed cheaper circle lights would fit the same. I was wrongish. They fit great if slid in but when attempting to secure them with the bracket they're way too far back and high. So now I've added "fab" a bracket to my list of stuff to do this weekend.

Not sure there are a lot of Destiny fans on here, so your reference may have been somewhat lost on this crowd :)

Xbox one my gamertag is LithiumLaxBro (I used to play lacrosse and was into those Traxxas RC cars) if anyone has Destiny. I haven't played since August and got the Taken King on Black Friday.

When I say "fabricate" I mean beating metal into submission with a mallet.

The top piece was 5 1/2" tall with holes at 3/4" and 2" down for the bracket and wire and the bottom was 2 1/2" to the hole but I'd go with 2" since I redrilled the holes.

I haven't seen the light output on PIAA's but these are fine for me. They look good have decent output although the angle is lower than my 31.5" lightbar. They're $20 lights autvid or something lights. Mostly I was doing this for looks. The only reason I ever use aux lighting is for the occasional dark place but living in Atlanta it's mostly used as an F you to people who cut me off.

I'm a PS4 guy, though I never divested in my life enough to buy Destiny. I helped launch that pig with Activision when PS4 was coming out, but never delved into the dark world of actually playing it. I did play the alpha a bit -- seemed like a good black hole for time. ;)

So I took it to the shop today and had the Billies set at 0", a Zero Point Calibration done, and the wheels aligned. It rides soooooooo much better and ATRAC no longer engages on sharp turns.

Got a zero point calibration done today by the stealership for $140. Also put some royal Purple in and a K&N oil filter. Also flushed my power steering fluid and oiled my air filter. Nothing exciting. Hopefully getting some sliders for Christmas thought!
 
That's one mean looking rig you got sir :thumb: I'm in Ga as well and just went to the Chattahoochee national forest a couple weeks ago. It was badass, I cant wait to go back.
