For those of you following closely, mcgyver0302 did receive enough nominations to be in the poll but according to his garage he's sold his 1st gen, so I thought it would be better to have a poll with only current owners. Having said that, he's got a real nice 3rd gen in the works so he's definitely eligible for a nomination in June.

Talk about needing to read the fine print (d'oh!)--I just caught the comment under his last photo: "miss it!". Guess I never figured someone would post a full set of build- and trail-running pics AFTER selling their rig. My bad.

I gotta throw my vote to my NC runner [MENTION=90132]ajohnson85[/MENTION] tons of great work put into his rig most of it done with the truck sitting on jack stands outside in the elements, the rest done on the floor inside his house.

awesome work even with the lack of shop space he has dual cases going in this week!

I seriously don't know who to vote for. Every one of these trucks is a bucket of awesome.

Go for Dangler, the guy that can fly? Pyro, the guy with a truck I'd give a kidney for? Rockdawg, with the beastiest 1st gen on the board? Or ajohnson, the guy who is building pretty much the same truck I am, but is farther along and doing it on a concrete pad in his back yard?

I voted for Dirt Dangler. Awesome truck. I'm not voting for him because he can fly. Anyone can fly. There is a family sedan in some comercial that can fly. I voted for him because he can LAND!

Thanks for the props man! Everyone checking out my build is keeping me motivated, even working 60+ hours a week. I wish the winning prize was a garage!

good point...its not that hard to launch a truck but landing safely is another story

thanks bud...there is a story to the name dirty dangler but ill save that for another day haha. heres a shot of one of the landings. Not gonna lie it was a little scary when the truck started to twist in the air but she handled like a champ

lined up, took a deep breath and put the skinny pedal to the floor and never lifted!!! everyone assumes the landing was harsh but it really was no problem...sand is very forgiving. believe it or not i didnt even bottom out...there was still about an inch left on the shock shafts. the suspension and shocks did all the work i just put the pedal through the floor and controlled the nose dive with the throttle. changed my underoos and drove her home 100+ miles and to work the next day. still drove straight as an arrow at 75-80 mph
