The Tacoma springs I got were labeled by the seller. Mine are: purple & white - LEFT, orange & white - RIGHT.
Visual inspection reveals that the left is slightly longer, so that sounds right.
If that's the case, then mine are on backwards. Oh well.

Anyone else having trouble removing the rear bushing? I rent a pitman arm puller today and it just stretch the bushing until it maxed out the puller. Im out of ideas now.
All the writes Ive seen doesnt show anyone having this much trouble.
I currently have the budget boost with FJ springs/shocks on my V6 4x4 and am pretty much level (running boards). Can't remember how much lift I got but I do know that the FJ springs only gave me ~1/4".
Now I need new shocks and I want to go an inch or so higher. Thinking about Tacoma springs with 5100's at 1.75". If I understand correctly, this new combo should net 2.75" of lift +/-? Do the springs have to be TRD or is that just a difference in the shock?
Thanks
I've got 5100's and tacoma springs. My springs were off a non trd pre runner. With the bilsteins at 2.5, I got right at 4" of lift out of it.
Just to confirm, you got 1.5" just out of the springs? I know it's easy math but that's about .5" more than I expected.
Yeah around that, it shocked me too. I haven't measured in a while though I'll do that soon and get back to you. My nose looks low compared to the rear and all I have back there is superflex's.
Oh and mines also v6 so it's a little lighter up front which would contribute to more lift.
So I finally finished mine, non TRD taco springs on 5100's set at 1.75. 1" spacer with FJ springs rear. It sits just a tad front end high right now but I'm guessing it will settle. Maybe .5"
I haven't measured yet but I'm pretty sure I got over 3" front lift with this combo. Ride is a bit stiff though and I'm wondering if the bilstein will break in or if 1.75" is just too much preload on these springs.
I may end up going down to .85" if the ride doesn't improve in a few thousand miles. Overall I'm happy with the stance though.
I may have missed this if it was already covered, but does this mod include all (05-current) tacoma's? Found a great deal on some '14 take offs, just not sure if they'll fit

Okay cool, thanks guys. I may be getting the shocks/springs as an assembly along with rear shocks (which from what I understand will not fit) but he's literally giving them away. Any idea on what kind of lift in the front I'd see with these springs? Link for the parts is below

The rear shocks will work fine as long as you change the eye bushing. The Energy Suspension bushings are $7-$8 for the set you would need. Using the front strut assembly should give you a 1.5 to 1.75 inch lift. I did the same thing on my truck but added the 1/2" Toytec spacers on top of the struts to get close to 2 1/2".
Highly recommend this set up. I did the same thing, got 1.25in of lift from the tacoma coils and a slightly firmer ride over the stock springs. Also have the daystar 2.5 spacer lift kit all the way around and the truck sits even on all four tires. Think it sits 38 inches ground to fender.
