Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the great info posted on this site. I have been looking for a replacement for my 2004 Tahoe for a while now and ended up signing the paperwork on a 2012 4Runner yesterday. They had to get it from another local dealer since they didn't have exactly what I wanted, so I'm picking it up tonight. I'm pretty excited about the new purchase. My first vehicle was a 1986 Toyota pickup and this will be my first Toyota since then!

I was wondering if you guys had any opinions about cargo area liners. I would like to protect the carpet back there, so I'm looking for a molded liner with a lip. I have seen a few plastic ones, but someone recently told me about one that was lined with waterproof carpet (hose-able) that came with a set of velcro backed blocks for securing loads, this would be great for me since I tend to haul a lot of fishing tackle back and fourth to the boat in 5 gallon buckets which always seem to find a way to tip over. Anyone have anything like this or know of a manufacturer?

Thanks for the info!

Nice! I remember the excitement the night prior to picking up mine, I honestly couldn't sleep. What is even better is that 25 months later I still get excited about getting in it and driving it around!

Congrats and look forward to seeing some picture and maybe some mods!

I have the one that Toyota makes. Toyota part number PT208-89001-20
4RUNR CMAT SLIDE DK

Works great for what I need. Keeps things from sliding, easy to take out an hose off when I get it dirty. Cost me about $75-80 bucks from my dealer.

Enjoy the new ride!

I loved the Tahoe; however, it just rolled over 150K miles and little things were starting to fail which was getting a little annoying. The fuel mileage was also starting to get worse and I drive 60 miles a day (round trip) to work, so that was really adding up. I'm looking forward to the new vehicle!

thanks bofa. No third row and no sliding cargo tray.

2012 SR5 (Blizzard Pearl)
Premium Package (black leather)

Nice! I just picked up my Blizzard Pearl SR5 with black leather a couple of weeks ago! We absolutely love it.

I have the cargo deck though. Weathertech products are typically top notch. Some people don't like the Toyota liners but I have the floor mats and cargo deck liner in mine and am very happy so far. I'm not sure about one with velcro blocks but it sounds interesting.

Enjoy!
