I've been looking at some pics of TE's and it looks to me like the headlamps are different than that of those on the SR5's and Limited. Can anyone please confirm if they really are different? To me it looks like maybe the inner part is blacked out and maybe even the lenses look to be tinted as well.

TE = black housings
LE/SR5 = chrome housings
LE/SR5 = chrome housings

You already got the answer from mrvandelay. Aside from aesthetics there is no real difference. You can interchange them without issue, or if you want higher output, look for the HID conversion thread.

Thanks for the reply. Didn't mean to offend you or anyone else on your list. I only meant to offend the smart*** member that was the first to reply to my post. I did a quick search on the subject and I came up empty handed. From the images I looked at I could tell that there was something different about them. Unfortunately, many of the pics I looked at were shot from a distance and I was having trouble determining if the lenses are tinted as well.
