Probably just excess bearing grease getting warm enough to flow out. I'd clean it up and not worry about itI found some remnants of oil under the hub cap, when doing my axles this weekend. I'm assuming that's from the front bearings, which means that the bearings are now losing oil?

Not that thick, no. The highest you really wanna go is about 1/8" (~3mm), which you can actually find hub-centric and in our lug pattern. I got some off ebay a while back that I think ran $10 a pop or so, but they're really more intended to fix rubbing on the brake calipers instead of the UCA. For the price I'd consider it worth a shot though - they're sometimes called "shims" instead of spacers at that size, which might help in your search
If an alignment doesn't help either (which I think would be a stretch but you never know) then your best option would be Spidertrax spacers or new wheels with different offset - assuming you didn't already get some with the new tires

Since you’re doing the slave cylinder I would highly recommend replacing the master cylinder too while you have the system open. Just my $0.02

I can’t remember for the life of me if the oem switch is a two position switch or a momentary switch. (An example of a two position switch is the power/normal etc button for autos.) If it’s a two position switch then it should work. If it’s a momentary switch then I’m not sure how you would be able to make that work.
I run the OEM switch for the ARBs but I also picked up a cluster that has the AWD pic in said so that when I push the OEM locker switch/es the lights on the
front or rear of the display shows which lock is on. U just run the OEM switch too a relay.

Yeah I plan to use a relay so I can get the factory dash light to come on as well, I figured it should work fine but I've been screwed by electronics more than once so better ask instead of order a switch unnecessarily. A dash swap would be a nice touch, I do like that little center display 01-02 got...
99/00 Limiteds have the same 4wd display as 01/02’s by the way in case you didn’t know

I’m pretty sure the mileage is stored in the instrument cluster. I’m not sure if mileage could be programmed to match or if it has to be brand new to accept a new mileage
Edit: you might need the cluster connector (or a few leads) too. You’d have to check an ewd for your year to see if there are any wiring differences for the clusters, but I would assume there would be. Might only be a few extra wires though if you’re lucky.

Got the interior wiring done for a tranny temp gauge but I'm missing the "supplied" male/female connectors for the sensor wires.
Two Autozones and an O'Reillys and nobody had anything.
What's the proper name for these connectors - barrel, bullet, something else?
More importantly, this being a temp sensor, is there anything special about these wires or could I just cut them off and use my own connectors? Wanted to ask before I cut, just in case.

On the digital mileage display (cluster) 99-02 are all interchangeable and the mileage is not stored on the cluster itself but the board on the backside (which again r all interchangeable) moving a broad from one cluster to another will display the mileage of whatever board is used. To my understanding only with special Toyota software can one change the mileage reading to zero or whatever # the tech wants. Sure there's smarter people then I with computer/software understanding that could hack it...
there only there to make sure to don't mix up the connections, u can cut and put any connector u want...

I figured as much since there's nothing special about the wire between there and the gauge. I'm not above looking like an idiot just to make sure. But you guys already knew that.
