Ace o-rings are typically for plumbing applications and don't always hold up to oils and fuel over time, in my experience.I see you ordered the o-rings, I got mine at Ace is the place it ain't nothing special and $4 cheaper each.

Toyota stuff has lasted 20 years far, Ace not so much. I paid $6 for 2 o-rings, if that's $5 worth of piece of mind, I'll take it.

Front upper/lower control arm bushings, and/or inner/outer tie rods, and/or steering rack itselfQuestion, I have a really bouncy ride in my 3rd gen. And anytime I hit a bump, pothole. Anything bumpy my steering wheel moves and clunks. Any idea ?

I was planning to get OME springs with either Bilstein or OME shocks and struts, but now that the Black Friday sales are on, I am considering the Rough Country kit.
This kit is considered coilovers right? Is it advantageous over the coil springs + shocks and struts approach I was initially considering? Is Rough Country Legit? I haven't heard them talked about as much as OME and Bilstein.
Thanks.
You get what you pay for. I've yet to see anyone speak highly of them, in any regard.
It would behoove you to look up older posts before making a decision, many here have installed their kits and very few have kept them on. This is a very recent thread. Rough Country 3" lift thoughts
906 vs 890 rear shocks?
The ARB document says 906 is medium load while 890 is heavy load, but that both provide a 2.0" lift.
The lift guide in this forum says 906s provide a 2" lift and the 890s provide a 3" lift. So which is it?
Which would pair better with 881s?

906 provides 2" of lift with a medium load
890 provides 2" of lift with a heavy load
890 provides 3" of lift with the same load as 906 springs (medium load)
Keep in mind whatever lift you put on the front will be 1" above the advertised height because you are 2wd (there's less weight in the front end).
The spring is between the axle (ground) and frame (body). When you add weight whether that is cargo (body area) or trailer tongue weight (frame) it puts more pressure on the spring and compresses it which is why it's important to know how much additional weight you plan on having constantly as that will affect your ride height. But doesn't the axle sit below the springs and therefore the additional weight does not affect the height?
I usually don't hear the sound at all on my way to work in the morning after the truck has sat for ~8 hrs ( I drive an hour to get to work) but I hear it as soon as I'm heading out of the parking lot after work.
